Cailyn
Lloyd - Bass Guitar; Lead Guitar.
Cailyn is a multi-talented musician who primarily settles in on
bass guitar when playing with IX Lives, She is not only the bass
player in IX Lives but is also one of the finest lead guitarists
around. The band features Cailyn playing guitar on a few songs from
her solo project including Eric Johnson's "Cliffs of Dover,"
Cailyn's own rendition of the song "Little Wing" and other
selections. Cailyn has been featured as a guest guitarist with several
bands including the Alimony Blues Band and the Groove Cats. Cailyn
lived in the UK for 10 years where she played many London venues
including the legendary Marquee Club. She plays many styles from
blues and classic rock to metal and country rock. Her time in the
UK heavily influenced her playing style with the works of guitarists
Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Alvin Lee and Rory Gallagher and bassists
Jack Bruce and John Entwhistle. Cailyn is also an avid stormchaser
and has found herself in the jaws of many tornado producing supercells. |
